Debbie Wasserman Schultz Needs To Stay Gone

Earlier today I cheered with joy (literally), when I heard that Debbie Wasserman Schultz, finally, stepped down as the DNC Chair. Now, later in the day I learned that she immediately after stepping down ended up joining the Clinton campaign. Let's talk about that real quick.

As you can tell, I'm not a fan of DWS. With the leak of DNC emails showing their plans to use Sanders' religion against him and just a clear bias towards Clinton, DWS is everything democracy shouldn't be.

She held a powerful and influential position and abused her power and for many across America, it looks like she worked really hard to guarantee that Bernie Sanders never stood a chance against Clinton.

Now, I'm not here to bash any of the candidates, but for the Clinton campaign to instantly hire DWS after everything that went down, well, that doesn't feel like a smart move on their part.

It literally just became known to the public that DWS was biased during the primaries, and now that the primaries are over, they kick her out of her position and give her another cushy position with Clinton's campaign.

Now, I don't care if you're a Hillary supporter, you have to admit, to many undecided voters, that's what this looks like. It simply looks like Clinton used DWS to help her win and then when she needed a scapegoat, they kicked DWS from her current position and then gave her a position next to Clinton in her camapign. Next thing we know Hillary will give DWS the position of Secretary of State or something else major if she becomes President.

Look, I'm an undecided voter who supported Bernie in the primaries. I have people from all sides trying to convince me to vote for their candidate and I'm doing my best to hear out all their arguments with an open mind. Here's what I'm going to say to Hillary Clinton: DWS doesn't stand for Democracy. She is someone who was in a position of power who was biased and ready to do anything she could to help the candidate she preferred beat out her opponent, even if it was unethical and undermined the Democratic system. We can't have a person like her in the American political system and still call it a Democracy.

Thank you.
