First and foremost, I would like to start by saying that man-made climate change is real.
Due to human activity we are seeing an increase in the average temperature worldwide. melting ice caps, extinction and endangerment of different animal species, and rising sea levels across the globe. To top it off, the vast majority of the scientific community believes human activity is the reason for the rapid occurrence of global warming, and the vast majority of them also believe that global warming is a threat to our planet and the survival of many species on this planet, as well as the human race.
Secondly, I would like to say that you are a man of science. You, like many other Americans and people across the world, rely on science everyday.
When you built the Trump Tower, your company and your contractors utilized math and science. They used mathematics to determine the dimensions of your tower, the individual dimensions of every room and many other aspects. They used scientific evidence to determine what material was best suited to build the tower and they used science to determine which material would work best for many other internal aspects. For example, in the construction of a ballroom inside your tower, they most likely would use the science of sound and light to determine how the sound of music would travel efficiently through the ballroom and how the lighting would work accordingly during parties and gatherings.
But let's go even further, every single time that you set foot on a plane, you put your life in the hands of science. Scientific research learned how to make everything that works in a plane possible, from the width of the wing, to the autopilot system, to the fuel that keeps the plane in the sky.
During this election season, you didn't question the science that made it possible for you to get around the country so quickly and efficiently, so why do you question man-made global warming when the majority of scientist who would reassure you that flying in a plane is safe would practically guarantee you that human activity is the cause of the threat of global warming?
Donald Trump, the Democratic system in America elected you as president and you must step up and surpass our expectations entirely. Global warming is real, and even though it might not adversely affect you much in your lifetime, it very well could adversely affect me, my children, my grandchildren, your children, your grandchildren, and their children.
Please, if this isn't enough, listen to the scientific community, they will bombard you with enough evidence that you'd have to take a break from Twitter for at least a month to wrap your head around it all.
P.S. Global warming is not a hoax orchestrated by the Chinese, but China is a major contributor to climate change.
