Don't Give Up On The Political Revolution

A lot has changed in the past week, Hillary has been endorsed by Obama, Warren, and Biden. Bernie has "lost" California (even though recently we've seen several counties flip towards Bernie), and it just seems like it's all downhill from here. Let me explain now, why we can't give up.

It's next to impossible to guess what's going to happen. Bernie might endorse Hillary and fight for her and by doing so crush the spirits of a lot of his supporters. Maybe he'll take another road, who knows?

Either way, I'm not here to talk about what Bernie will do in the coming hours, days, weeks, and months, I'm here to talk about YOU, the Bernie supporters.

We have supported Bernie because his values were fresh and new to American politics. He stood up as an underdog and brought the fight on the establishment's turf and refused to back down no matter how many times he got hit.

Bernie has brought the topic of income inequality in the spotlight, universal healthcare, money and corruption in politics, and more to the table. He has stood up for the people in Vermont and for the people in Puerto Rico and for everyone else across the nation.

I'm here to tell you, no matter what happens, it's not over. Bernie started a fire, and it won't go out easily. Bernie Democrats, or Berniecrats, are already winning primaries in their state's for local positions and for the Senate and House.

Maine and South Carolina are just some of them of the states in which Berniecrats have left their mark, and it's far from over.

If we can get Berniecrats into seats we will start seeing more and more progressive bills pass the Senate and the House.

And hell, it's never gonna be over for Bernie. In many states you have the option of writing-in Bernie's name if you refuse to vote for anyone else.

You don't have to give in and vote for Trump or Clinton. You can stay true to your values and beliefs and vote for Bernie if you want. You have the option to make Bernie's fire spread all across the United States government. Get Berniecrats in local seats. Get them in the Senate. Get them in the House. Hell, we don't have to give up trying to put Bernie in office.

BernieOrBust doesn't just mean getting Bernie in office, it's much more than that. Don't lose hope, we can't stop after coming this far!

  2. I live in Pennsylvania. I can write him in. I had been a democrat my whole life, but I can't do it anymore. We need a party of, by and for the disenfranchised. The 1% is saying "I own you."
