Dems Finally Discussing Dropping Wasserman Schultz

Democrats have finally sat down and have started talking about dropping Debbie Wasserman Schultz from her position as DNC Chair. Many Dems are starting to believe that Schultz is too devise of a figure after everything that went down this primary season and they believe that dropping her will lead to a more unified Democratic party, despite who wins the primaries.

Many "pro-Clinton" senators have recognized that Schultz has been too obviously biased towards Clinton, and this has led to a lot of negativity towards her and even competition from progressive Tim Canova for her seat.

Basically, this is a move to try and please Bernie supporters, and in some way it works. If Tim Canova or another progressive ends up being the head of the DNC, I will be very pleased with the way the Democratic party is going. Even though I still hope Bernie can win a contested convention, I also believe we must try to reform the Democratic party as a whole towards more progressive values and further away from establishment politicians like Schultz. Even though Schultz herself has made no indication of plans to give up her title, it would be good if she just left with whatever dignity she has left.

I still remember when Schultz blocked Bernie and his team from his servers over an error that was caused by the DNC and the lawsuit that followed. Under Schultz the DNC has stained the Democratic parties image and has blown the doors wide open. We now know how dirty it is on the inside.

Removing Schultz is a step forward to a more progressive Democratic party, and it's good to hear that people are finally talking about.

  1. Tim Canova is not interested in being head of DNC, lol. He is challenging her seat in FL23

  2. If Canova defeats DWS for her seat in Congress, that doesn't mean he will automatically become the DNC chair. She can still be DNC chair w/o holding an elected office, as did Howard Dean.

  4. I hope they drop Hillary too. How embarrassing for this country to have a candidate under FBI INVESTIGATION. She should have conceded as soon as the investigation was announced. Would have been sooner, but she WAITED 21 mos to turn over emails she hadn't deleted.
